Athrú First Small Batch Release

Athrú’s first Small Batch release is a blend of three unique casks of 6-year-old Oloroso, 6 year-old Bourbon and 17-year old madeira finishes. Limited to just 3,000 bottles and bottled at 46% abv, this perfect blend of malt Irish whiskey gives Athrú a combination of dried fruits and spiced vanilla which adds depth and sweetness reminiscent of Christmas cake.

Athrú Mini Trilogy

For whiskey curious person in your life, treat them to our gift box set of the three 14 year Athrú single malt whiskies. This set contains three individual 50ml bottles of the first trilogy of 14 year single malts, each finished in different hand-selected casks: the Annacoona (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry), Knocknarea (Oloroso sherry) and the Keshcorran (Tokaji sweet wine casks), all packaged up in a stylish gift box.

Annacoona

Annacoona is the first expression of Athrú 14 year old single malt. Matured for 11 years in ex bourbon American oak casks and then finished for three years in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks.

It is a rich, sweet whiskey with a hit of salted caramel and forest fruits and a dark chocolate finish.

Knocknarea

Knocknarea is the second single malt from the Lough Gill Distillery and is also a limited edition of 6,600 bottles. Matured for 11 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks and then finished for a minimum of three years in finest Oloroso sherry casks beside Lough Gill.

Notes: mince pies and caramel on the palate, pepper and cigar box finish (medium length).

Keshcorran

This distinctive whiskey is the third expression of Athrú 14 year old single malt. It was matured for 10 years in ex bourbon American oak and then finished for 4 years in rare Tokaji sweet wine casks. These casks were sourced from a Hungarian vineyard originally planted in the 1720s for Catherine the Great. This was the same time Hazelwood House was built at Lough Gill, Co. Sligo.

Athrú Luxury Hip Flask
